About the Service
Rabbi David Mordechai offers wedding ceremony services — traditional, liberal, and secular — throughout Israel. Important clarification: The ceremony is a “bonding ceremony” and is not recognized as a marriage ceremony by the State of Israel or its authorities. Couples wishing for formal registration with the Ministry of Interior must marry in a civil ceremony abroad or enter into a partnership/property agreement with a lawyer.
Service Ordering Process
- Inquiry via “Contact” or “Wedding Order” form on the site
- Conversation with the rabbi to coordinate details
- Written order confirmation
- Deposit payment to reserve the date
- Performance of the ceremony on the agreed date
- Balance payment on the day of the ceremony or as agreed
Pricing and Payment
Service pricing is determined individually based on ceremony type, location, date, and scope of service. A price quote will be provided during coordination. The deposit will be collected per the agreement and serves as confirmation of the date.
Cancellation Policy
Order cancellation is subject to the following terms:
- Up to one month before the ceremony: The client is entitled to a full deposit refund.
- Between one month and 7 days before the ceremony: The deposit will not be refunded.
- Less than 7 days before the ceremony: The client will be charged the full service fee, even if the ceremony was cancelled.
Exception — Force Majeure: In the event of war or a national-scale disaster beyond the couple’s control, the deposit will be refunded in full upon request, even if cancellation occurred within the restricted period.
Client Obligations
The client undertakes:
- To provide accurate and complete details when ordering
- To understand and sign the declaration and undertaking (including the understanding that the ceremony is not officially recognized)
- To arrive at the agreed place and time
- To pay the full fee on time

The service will be provided as described. The operator is not responsible for indirect damages, such as ancillary event expenses (venue, photography, etc.) that are not part of the direct service. The operator’s liability is in any case limited to the amount actually paid for the service.
